It was a trip to the Albula Valley to see blue, white, knobbly potatoes, large and small, that tasted like chestnuts or artichokes. But it was also a journey back to the source, as it is in Marcel Heinrich’s fields that our grandparents were already growing different varieties of potato – with lots of effort and equal passion – as our visit to the Biohof Las Sorts in Filisur revealed.
