Tanja Grandits and her team were amazed when the V-ZUG Food Truck opened its doors at 9 o’clock in the morning in front of the Restaurant Stucki in Basel and the two top chefs Fabian Fuchs and Silvio Germann wielded the wooden spoon. Chopping vegetables, mixing sauces and colourfully arranging them: The two V-ZUG Ambassadors went all out for the perfect lunch surprise. Lunch opened with ceviche of pike-perch and various vegetables. This was followed by a tomato kernotto – garnished with fresh and aromatic herbs. The Kaiserschmarren with wild blueberries and creamy yoghurt ice cream rounded off the delicious lunch. And of course, a small sweet delicacy was not to be missed: Pâte à choux filled with a mascarpone cream – the crowning finale.
Tanja Grandits and her entire team were delighted with the successful lunch surprise. A good side effect: for once, no one from the team had to worry about the staff lunch. The cheerful mood at the food truck was also reflected in the weather. A beautiful summer day, perfect for reminiscing together and capturing the moment in some souvenir selfies.
