I am a firm believer that the most important aspect of a great restaurant or bar experience is receiving great hospitality. I will dive into why in my next blog, but it is important to differentiate between service and hospitality. For me, great service is the technical aspect of an experience: is the table set properly? Is the wine poured correctly? Is the cocktail’s temperature correct? The list goes on. Whereas hospitality is the act of doing things for your guest, going the extra mile to create an interaction that sparks an emotional connection with your guest. The best venues in the world have it all!
